Elle Hanson is a PhD student in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins. She is a student of Darryn Waugh and her PhD work focuses on organic ice clouds in the stratosphere of Saturn's largest moon, Titan, but her interests are quite broad, and include mesoscale meteorology on other planets, radiative transfer measurements and modeling, planetary rings, anything involving ices, and making planetary data more useable. Elle also enjoys coffee, cats, birds, programming, and cross stitching to science fiction/fantasy audiobooks. She goes by both Lavender and Elle.
